This guy takes hotel room cooking to a whole new level

Saw this video at Lifehacker.com and thought it was genius. We just got back a couple weeks ago from vacationing in SoCal, and we did a lot of hotel room cooking, but mostly microwaving oatmeal, the occasional PB&J sandwich and my ingenious apple-Jarlsberg wrap (apple slices and Jarlsberg Lite cheese wrapped in a low-carb tortilla and microwaved). We saved a bunch of money by not going out to breakfast even once in two weeks.

But British comedian George Egg thinks big -- like spinach tortellini and scratch English muffins big. Check this out:

Great post! I'm looking to make some changes in my own eating habits, so I appreciate your insight a lot! Thank you. I recently stumbled upon this blog like I did yours and I thought your readers may appreciate the advice of this couple: http://burisonthecouch.wordpress.com/2010/11/04/food-for-thought/

I've started to look for their stuff more regularly and I think I'm going to add your blog to my list as well. Thanks for the post!

The last time I stayed in a motel - I would call it a hotel, but I would be embellishing enough to make my own mother blush - I brought a small Smokey Joe with me and cooked meals in the parking lot. It was fabulous!
